ok. so lets all catch up here. What have we missed? Well, the craziest line up of shows ever was just posted to the shows section, lets start with that. As of now, there are 8 shows booked between today and the end of the year. We all know that another 10 or so will probably pop up in the middle there some time, but lets look at what we have so far. Just to name a few: the galaxy, the avalon, TWO vegas shows!?!?! What the hell is going on around here? is it luck? is it the added magic of the Snow Pee? Whatever it is, we have some great damn shows coming up! And New Years Even in vegas? And were playing at MIDNIGHT?!? I guess well have to learn that damn song. man.

Oh, and also I was at Russ's house the other night and got my first sneak listen to the live CD that we made at the Allen Theater... and holy shit it sounds AMAZING. As soon as he gets me mix of a song or 2 Ill put them up on the site I promise. If you even remotely like the first CD, this live one is going to blow you away. Great sound, great playing... and I cant wait to see the video that goes with it. I guess well put out the DVD and also a CD of just the audio? Who knows. Hopefully it will all be ready soon. worth the wait though, I promise.

What else what else? Well, Soda seems to be feeling alot better after all the bouts he was having and everyone else in the band is slowly recovering from this COLD that seems to have conquered all of Southern California. Im still a little phlegmy (I know you wanted to know) , but Ill take some liquid Tylenol before the show tonight so I dont drip on my guitar. Im gonna call Bem and see how hes feeling too. But recovering. thats the point. were all recovering now. alot of shows coming up. have to be good. read above.

And lastly, I guess theres this show on CBS this Sunday night... something about dead... death... dead something...I think it has Anna Heche or something. Either way, I hear that there are 2 Soda songs in it! On the damn CBS!!! hahahah. Heche. So, listen for it I guess.

Were you there? did you see it? Last nights show at Molly Malones was great! Soda was feeling really good and the band was at its best. Im kinda sad that we dont have any shows coming up for a little while, but I think Soda is busy this month wheeling and dealing for the band so that we can all become gazillionaires, or at least be able to afford to super size our value meals. I also heard last night that theres only one song left to work on from the Allen Theatre CD release show that we recorded for the DVD. I havent heard any of it yet, but Russ and Mike say that it sounds really great... so hopefully Ill get some samples or something soon. Also hey JUDD!!!! Where you at?

So, see you in a few weeks at the next show. But check back here often, cuz maybe well throw some extra stuff in here and there. I kinda hear rumor that we might play next thursday night, bluegrass acoustic style somewhere... more on that when I know for sure. ok, have fun.

ok, so Ill skip all the gory details and whatnot and just say that we need you to come out tonight to Molly Malones. Soda is feeling much better and I want this to be a great show to get us all back up on our feet! Its just us at 9pm and then The Sweethearts Of The Rodeo, which I think is some sort of "all star band" thing that I was told will be great. The new music room at Mollys is pretty big and theres no reason why it shouldnt be full. And I think its only $5 too! Were going to be 7 pieces tonight, so it should be interesting.

oh, and heres some comic relief or something: Soda has agreed that if we (the band) pay for it, he will get (and this is HIS QUOTE now) "The tightest perm you ever saw, with one curl hanging down in front and a big chicago mustache" and will play FIVE shows like that with NO HAT. Now, for those of you who have never seen the band or dont know Soda, this might not sound nearly as ridiculous as it does to us, but trust me, this is going to be the best $60 any one of us has ever spent. Personaly I think its just Sodas way of quelling all the myths that he might be bald and thats why he wears the hat... but thats just me.

Tonights VIPER ROOM show has been canceled due to illness!!! Sorry for the last minute update, we hope no ones exciting monday night plans are foiled by our cancelation. In other news, Sodas radio performance yesterday went really well and we will put up mp3s of it as soon as theyre ready. Sorry again and keep checking back for more news as it comes in. Sounds real professional, huh?
