On behalf of Soda & his Million Piece Band, Welcome To Our Website!
We haven't yet worked out the interactive thing where you become a virtual member of the band and have to play lots of old-timey half-broken instruments onstage in front of a bunch of screaming drunk people who dance around and try to hit you with bottles and wads of cash while you play, but there's still plenty to keep you busy. Hunt around and see what you can find -- just make sure you add yourself to our mailing list before you leave! Otherwise how will we be able to contact you in case of emergency? We worry sometimes, you know.

Lots of things happening in Sodaland... We had a great time at the Farmers Market Show being filmed by Kenny Rogers The Gambler for Country Music Television (along with, among others, our friends and neighbors 50 cent Haircut and Skeeter Truck), and from what we could tell, you all did too, assuming you all were there, which of course you were. Then we, those weirdly familiar Waco Tragedies, and the scarily-amazing Izzy Cox prompted a near-riot at Harvelle's and were forced to flee without our jack-and-cokes, but we won't talk about that. We're now gearing up for the immense Midway-infected Hurricane Benefit Show tomorrow night at Hangar 1018, and then Thursday we serenade Downtown Los Angeles from the Lunchtime Stage at Pershing Square! That is, if we don't all disintegrate under the harmful rays of the noonday sun! Keep your fingers crossed!

In other news, the band has dipped its toes into the deep end of the internet and launched pages at Garageband.com, IAC, and Mixposure. Add these to our sizeable beachhead on MySpace and we've got over 758,000,000 people listening to our music every day! Approximately. So in no time at all we'll all be rich and famous and have pet emus with galoshes and yellow felt hats, is all I can say. So why not jump in and swim with us in the cooling waters of imaginary space, while we're still emu-less?

Oh, and here's one more, in case you haven't had enough links.

It's official: we've been adopted by The Mint. We love them, they love us, it's a happiness fest, and we're having a party to celebrate.

Thursday, September 8th, mark your calendars! Doors at 9:30, show starts at 10. Brian Wright & the Waco Tragedies will be joining us; they're a pretty good band, too!

See the shows page for more details.

Well, Fats Domino has been found and he's okay, so thank God for that. A lot of other people aren't, though, so if you've got a couple bucks lying around, send it somewhere, maybe HERE.

Thanks.
